Hugeicons Pro with WordPress

Unlock the full Hugeicons library in your WordPress site with the Pro Addon. Pro subscribers get access to over 46,000 icons across 10 unique styles.

Prerequisites

Before using Pro with WordPress, make sure you have:

If you are not a Pro user yet, you can purchase a license from the Hugeicons pricing page (opens in a new tab).

1. Install the Free Plugin First

If you haven't already, install the free Hugeicons plugin:

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for "Hugeicons"
  3. Click Install Now and then Activate

The free plugin is required as the base for the Pro Addon.

2. Download the Pro Addon

  1. Go to Hugeicons downloads (opens in a new tab) from your profile
  2. Download the WordPress Gutenberg Pro Addon plugin file (.zip)

3. Install the Pro Addon

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New
  2. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page
  3. Choose the Pro Addon .zip file you downloaded
  4. Click Install Now
  5. After installation, click Activate Plugin

4. Activate Your License

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Hugeicons
  2. Enter your license key (get it from your Hugeicons account (opens in a new tab))
  3. Click Activate to verify your license
  4. Once activated, you will see the available icon sets that you have created in your account. Select the ones you want to use.

Note: If you don't have any icon sets yet, follow the next step to create them.

Adding More Icon Sets (Optional)

If you want to add more icon sets to your WordPress plugin:

  1. Go to Hugeicons sets (opens in a new tab) from your profile
  2. Add your desired icon sets with the styles you need
  3. The icons will then be available in your WordPress icon picker

Note: If newly added sets don't appear, simply disconnect and reconnect your license in the plugin settings.

Using Pro Icons

Once activated, Pro icons work the same as free icons:

Icon Picker

  1. Click the Hugeicons button in the Block Editor toolbar
  2. Search through the expanded library (now including all Pro icons)
  3. Select your desired icon and style
  4. Insert it into your content

Tips for Pro Usage

  • Keep your license key secure and don't share it publicly
  • Regularly update the plugin to access new icons
  • Use the style selector to match icons to your design system
