Quick Start with WordPress (Free)
Get up and running with Hugeicons Free in your WordPress site. This guide covers installation, basic usage with the Block Editor, and shortcode implementation.

Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you have:
- WordPress 5.0 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- Access to your WordPress admin dashboard
1. Install the Plugin
Install the Hugeicons WordPress Plugin from the official WordPress Plugin Directory:
Option 1: From WordPress Plugin Directory (Recommended)
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New
- Search for "Hugeicons"
- Click Install Now and then Activate
Option 2: Manual Installation
- Download the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory (opens in a new tab)
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New
- Choose the downloaded .zip file you downloaded
- Click Install Now
- After installation, click Activate Plugin
2. Basic Usage
Using the Icon Picker
The easiest way to add icons to your content:
- Click the Hugeicons button in the Block Editor toolbar
- Search and select your desired icon
- Insert it into your content
Using Shortcodes
For more control, use the shortcode syntax:
