Why we created hugeicons pro?

Creating this icon pack wasn't solely to sell it. It was designed because we needed it for our everyday design life. As a design team, we need a huge number of icons every day but we couldn’t find any balanced, smooth and consistent icon solution. As a result, we decided to create our icon pack in 2021. Each of the icons was designed very carefully, and we are ready by Jan 2023.

Why it’s best?

Clear and understandable

An icon represents a discrete object, action, or idea in a compact form. At a glance, icons are intended to be read quickly and easily. In order to create the icons, we have followed real objects as models.

Unique, creative & professionally balanced

You can save time and effort by selecting the right library from the beginning. This will help ensure your website has a consistent, professional look and feel. If you use different libraries for your SaaS, mobile apps, or website icons, you will have different designs, styles, and weights. Icons will become increasingly inconsistent and messy as your icon collection grows, even to an untrained eye.

Additionally, poorly designed icons can be difficult to distinguish. Users may get confused or frustrated when they encounter the same interface with different styles of icons. This can lead to decreased user engagement and satisfaction, which will have a negative impact on your business.

The custom designed icon library "Hugeicons Pro" ensures that all the icons have a consistent look and feel, making them easier to recognize. This helps improve the user experience.

Layout

Content for icons should be contained within a live area, which is a region of an image that will not be hidden. It may be necessary to extend content into the padding between the live area and the trim area (the entire size of a graphic). In the trim area, no part of the icon should extend beyond it. Keeping content within the live area helps to keep the icon's original proportions, which is important for maintaining a consistent look and feel.

Key-line shapes & grid

A grid of icons defines consistent, flexible positioning rules for graphic elements.An essential part of Key-line shapes is the grid. The grid helps designers to create a consistent visual language by providing a set of guidelines for positioning elements. It allows for the flexible positioning of elements within a layout, making it easier for designers to create designs that look good and are easy to use.

Pixel perfect

The X and Y coordinates of an icon should be integers, without decimals, in order to avoid distorting the icon. If you use decimals, the icon will end up slightly distorted because the coordinates don't line up exactly with the pixels on the screen. That can make the icon look blurry.

Responsive & smooth rounded corner

Every corner has a continuously variable curvature like Apple. There is no need for extra polishing. You don't have to rework the round when you scale. That's what we did for you. You are welcome to scale however you like!

Editable layers

Hugeicons pro introduces a way to represent a characteristic that can change over time — like capacity or strength. To visually communicate such a change, variable color applies color to different layers of a icon as a value reaches different thresholds between zero and 100 percent.

For example, you could use variable color with the wifi icon to communicate three different ranges of wifi speed.

Hugeicons pro defines several design variants — such as stroke, two-tone, duotone, solid and bulk — that can help you communicate precise states and actions while maintaining visual consistency and simplicity in your UI.
